![]() ![]() The Team: Tsunami is The Leader, Glory is The Lancer, Clay is The Big Guy, Starflight is The Smart Guy, and Sunny is The Chick.Rebellious Rebel: They rebel against both the Talons of Peace and the warring tribes. There are a few speed bumps, especially since the student body involves more than one member of royalty, but eventually the Academy becomes a success that inspires future generations (and according to Darkness of Dragons, there's a waiting list to enroll). Reasonable Authority Figure: In the second series, they found the Jade Mountain Academy, a school dedicated to teaching dragons of all races and classes to work together. ![]() Kid Hero: They're all six years old, which is teenaged for a dragon.Hope Bringer: Many dragons across the world are given hope by the prophecy.Fire-Forged Friends: They grew up with no-one else around but their abusive "caretakers", so they basically had to be good to each other.Family of Choice: They've never met their birth families as of the start of the series, but they see each other as family.Especially Clay and Sunny, but even Tsunami and Glory aren't THAT bad. Delightful Dragon: All of them, definitely.Naturally, these beliefs are vital to saving the world. Cultural Rebel: Their unusual upbringing gave them many beliefs- such as egalitarianism and a democratic way of resolving disputes- that normal dragons can barely comprehend. Many of the queens' soldiers balk at hurting children, perhaps because of their own bitterness and self-doubt. Children Are Innocent: Invoked by the prophecy's manufacturers, and later the dragonets themselves (although the setting overall subverts this trope).Glory is the exception, having been substituted in when the SkyWing egg was lost. The Chosen Many: The prophecy calls for one dragonet from each type.Tsunami looked at Glory. From left to right: Starflight, Sunny, Clay, Glory, and Tsunami ![]() Glory nodded at the Seawing who threw her wings over Glory she flinched but eventually got used to it. Glory smiled, "You should've told me earlier." She looked at Tsunami who unburied herself from her wings "You do?" Tsunami said flabbergasted. "It's just whenever I'm around you I'm just blown away I feel myself shake and myself freeze," Tsunami said putting her snout back in her wings. She stood there frozen just like Starflight when they lived under the mountain "W-what?" She said looking at the princess poke her snout out of her wings. Tsunami adjusted herself and took a long deep breath "I've liked for a while now" Tsunami said quickly and buried herself in her wings. "Everything's fine I'm just nervous." Tsunami admitted when Glory was done checking her Glory tilted her head "Why would you be nervous?" Glory asked. Glory looked at Tsunami who was shaking "Is something wrong?" Glory asked getting up checking on her friend's scales they seem fine Glory thought looking at the princess's royal blue scales. "Wow indeed," Tsunami said looking at them fly away. "Wow," she looked around as the orange butterflies flew away from the two dragons. Tsunami walked Glory to an open batch of the forest with butterflies all around them. Starflight and Sunny ran to Clay trying to make him stop Tsunami looked at Glory and back at them "Follow me," She said quietly. Glory looked at Clay who was already eating she rolled her eyes Nothing new She thought. "Thanks you guys," Glory said twining her tail with her friends. "That's a color you don't see all day," Starflight stated waving a talon at Glory's now pink scales. Sunny tilted her head "I thought you were going to ask-" "What fruit you like!" Tsunami interjected giving Sunny a swift glare. "Why would you scare me like that!" Glory said bluntly watching Tsunami slowly got up "Well since we were in the Rain Kingdom I thought we would make a surprise fruit feast," Tsunami said groaning. She jumped and whacked Tsunami with her tail she watched her topple to the ground. "Surprise!" Tsunami yelled jumping out behind Glory. She heard a faint whistle from the wind passing by. Glory watched her scales turn a Nightwing purple. The Rain Kingdom was even empty no dragons to be seen. She placed a talon in front of her checking to see if there were traps. She hesitated to keep on walking everyone was being so weird. Glory looked around cautiously her claws sinking into the dirt. ![]()
